PulseNetwork is the engine layer: real data, real pricing, real settlement, metered per call. We are not selling the finished product to your customers, and we aren't in your customers' inbox. You are — you pick the endpoint(s), name the box, set your own retail price, and take it to your market under your own brand. A wholesale key is the whole mechanism: you call our API, we bill you at 50% of retail, you charge whatever you charge, and the spread is yours, automatically, with no revenue share to reconcile.

Send it as x-internal-key on any PulseNetwork request. Each call deducts wholesale cost (50% of that endpoint's retail price, floored at $0.005) from your balance — no per-call crypto payment, no wallet in your hot path.

3. Top up when low

Deposits are themselves an x402 call: hit the deposit URL, pay the 402 in USDC (Base or Solana), and your balance credits automatically the moment it settles. On-chain-verified — no invoicing, no trust required.

When your balance hits zero, wholesale pricing simply stops — calls fall through to the normal retail x402 gate (a real payment would then be required through whatever path you've built, or the call fails). There's no overdraft and no surprise bill.

A key's scope only grants access to verticals that have wholesale billing wired — an out-of-scope or excluded call (e.g. SignalPulse scan/*) simply falls through to the normal retail x402 gate, same as running out of balance. Every other endpoint in the catalog honors your prepaid key.
